Levels of Damage & Treatment
Our professional technician will use different inspection tools to determine where the pet stains are located and the level of contamination to make sure we treat them efficiently.
Light to Moderate
Pet has made only one or two deposits on the carpet in the same place and the carpet backing has not been compromised.
Our regular deep cleaning (using a enzyme based odor control product is recommend).
Moderate to Heavy
Pet has made multiple deposits on the carpet. The carpet backing and pad has been contaminated. Sub-floor may or may not be contaminated.
We saturate the area by pouring a special solution directly on the stained area. Allow 30 minutes dwell time and dry extract the treating area.
Heavy to Extreme
Carpet has literally been used as a litter box. Carpet backing, pad, and sub-floor have been thoroughly contaminated.
The carpet is pulled back and the contaminated pad is removed. Sub-floor needs to be sealed (if contaminated).
Pet Odor & Urine Removal
In many cases our normal cleaning process is all that is needed to correct minor pet problems. The powerful extraction and rinsing action of our cleaning system can effectively remove urine from carpet fiber. We use a enzyme product that consumes the bacteria that causes the odor problem; enzymes are the best cleaning agent for urine, vomit and feces.
The problem with pet odor is that it can be much deeper than it first appears at first. Pet urine can easily soak through the backing of the carpet into the padding underneath. In more severe cases the urine can penetrate into the sub-floor beneath the padding. This creates a problem that is multi-layered.
Pet urine can cause permanent damage to your carpet or textiles, if not removed promptly, it will permanently change the dye structure, therefore causing permanent staining and the odor can become absorbed into many of the porous materials in your home.
Pet ownership adds to the challenge of maintaining a clean and healthy home and we can help you meet those challenges.
